SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS
Parents, did you know that your school has a Social Worker? School Social Workers are available to offer assistance and support to caregivers, students, and staff. Social Workers will assist with any school or non-school related issue that may alter the health or success of a student or family.
Social Workers are available to work with students and families individually or in groups and can assist children with behavioral concerns or any other issues that may be impacting a child's ability to learn. Social Workers can also assist families in overcoming barriers that may be in their child's way.
Social Workers can provide referrals and resources to help parents with food, shelter, and other necessities, including healthcare needs and can also help families navigate school, legal, AH CCC S and other systems in which families often become involved.
Please contact your school's Social Worker, Suzi Wall at 480-484-5802, with any questions or concerns.
