In order to meet the academic needs of Scottsdale Unified School District’s (SUSD) high achieving students, SUSD will expand its Middle School Honors Program by adding English Language Arts to the curriculum for its six middle schools and three K-8 schools for the 2014-15 school year.
“We believe that SUSD is ‘The Best Choice’ for students. By enhancing the Middle School Honors Program to include English Language Arts, in addition to Math, we offer the best choice for 6th-8th grade students who have demonstrated that they are ready to move toward a more rigorous curriculum,” said Dr. Andi Fourlis, assistant superintendent of Teaching & Learning. The State AIMS tests will be given to students in grades 6-7-8 the week of April 7-11. Please be sure that your child is in attendance and on time. Also, please do not schedule appointments for your children during the testing periods.
We will be having a “Quiet Campus” during the testing periods. Classrooms will be free from interruptions during that time. So that the testing sessions are not disrupted, tardy students will not be allowed in class until the testing period is over. They will then need to make up the missed tests.
Thank you for your continued support.

We kicked off the year at Supai with our annual PBIS training days- including this campus wide assembly. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention System which is based on the ideology of recognizing and rewarding students for the positive behavior they depict on campus everyday. We are very proud of our entire community, who has created a safe and welcoming school environment that allows each of us to enjoy our time learning at Supai! Thank you all for making Supai a wonderful community!
